Managing your notifications

Notification rules allow you to select how you're notified about specific events or changes to your Verizon services. You can create your own rules to make sure you are alerted for things such as when an incident ticket is created for a specific service or when there is an alarm in your network. You can create notification rules for events in alarms, repairs and orders.

How to create an alarm or repairs notification:

 

1. Log in to Verizon Enterprise Center

2. Click the Notifications button at the top of the screen, or. click Notifications at the top of the screen
3. Click Create Rule or click the Create Rule button
4. Enter your preferences and click Add Rule to save your rule

 

 

How to stop receiving alarm or repairs notifications:

 

1. Click the Notifications button at the top of the screen, or. click Notifications at the top of the screen
2. Deselect the Enable checkbox next to the rule that you'd like to stop receiving notifications for

 

 

How to delete or edit notifications:

 

1. Click the Notifications button at the top of the screen, or. click Notifications at the top of the screen

2. Click the trash can icon and then the Delete button on the next modal if you would like to delete the rule permanently

 

 

How to change your preferences for alarm and repairs notifications:

 

1. Click the Notifications button at the top of the screen, or. click Notifications at the top of the screen
2. Select the rule you'd like to change by clicking the rule name or the pencil icon
3. Enter your preferences and click Add Rule to save your rule

 

 

How to add a co-worker to receive alarm and repairs notifications:

 

1. Click the Notifications button at the top of the screen, or. click Notifications at the top of the screen
2. Select the rule you'd like your co-worker to receive notifications for by clicking the rule name or the pencil icon
3. Under People to Notify,  click the Select people to notify link 
4. In the panel that appears, type your co-worker's name and select the checkbox next to their name
5. Click the Select button in the Notify Others panel and then click the Add Rule button to save your changes

Note: To keep your information secure, you will only be able to add people who are also authorized to view the same customer proprietary network information (CPNI).

Billing notifications

How to change your billing notifications:

1. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select Manage Notifications
2. Under Notifications Rules, click the rule you'd like to change
3. Update the Rule Condition options according to your new preferences and click Save

 

 

How to temporarily disable a billing notification:

1. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select Manage Notifications from the dropdown menu

2. Under Notification Rules, click the rule name you'd like to stop receiving notifications for and select Disable Rule. To enable the notification in the future and begin receiving notifications again, follow the same steps and select Enable Rule

 

 

How to permanently delete a billing notification:

1. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select Manage Notifications
2. Under Notification Rules, select the rule you'd like to delete. This will delete the rule and prevent notifications from going to anyone associated with the rule

 

 

How to exclude a specific person in the billing notification from receiving notifications:

 

1. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select Manage Notifications

2. Click the rule you'd like to edit

3. Under Notification Address, deselect the email(s) you'd like to stop receiving notifications
4. Click Save to update your changes

 

 

How to permanently delete all billing notifications:


1. Click your name in the top right of the screen and select Manage Notifications > Addresses
2. Under Notification address list, click  the email you'd like to unsubscribe. This will prevent all notifications from going to that email

 

 

How to create an order notification:


1. Click on your name at the top of the screen and select Manage Notifications under User Settings from the dropdown
2. Select Order from the Define Rule dropdown
3. Select your preferences and click Submit

Network Maintenance notification

 Note: Fields marked with * are required

    1. Log in to Verizon Enterprise Center

    2. Click Notifications at the top of the screen in the global navigation

    3. Click Create Rule and update the “General Information” section.

          a.   Select, "Network Maintaince," from the "Notification Type" dropdown. 

          b.   Select the CLE that you want the rule to be applied to. If there is just one CLE then it will be pre-populated.  
          c.  Selection the region that you would like to receive maintenance notification for with his rule.

          d. Give your subscription rule a helpful name and description. 

          e.. Choose to set up notifications for 

                1. the entire company and CLE. 

                2. Specific billing accounts.

                3.  specific circuit IDs

                4. Specific service IDs

         f.   Select whether or not you would like to be notified when the   rules is triggered. Ypu can also select other team members  that  have VEC

               accounts to be notified when the rule is triggered. 

         g. Save your rule.

Managing your notification preferences

     

    1. Navigate to the notifications page by clicking “Notifications” in the global navigation

    2. Click the “Preferences” tab next to the “Notifications,” and “Rules” tab. 

    3. Edit your scenario preference to determine if you would like to receive confirmation notifications when the scheduled maintenance has been completed.

    4. Edit your impact type preferences to determine if you would like to receive “Minimal Service Impacting” notifications in addition to 

    5.Edit your language preferences. “English” is a default selection that cannot be changed. You can add additional languages as needed.

    6.Apply your preferences to ALL network maintenance  notifications.
